The morning at Herb Hub 365 began with a gentle rise in light, starting at just 39 lux before climbing steadily as the sun took hold. By mid-morning, the greenhouse was bathed in nearly 300 lux, enough to signal the start of a productive day for our basil, chilli, and oregano.

The ambient temperature remained comfortably stable, hovering around 20°C, while the individual plants settled into their own micro-climates just a degree or two cooler than the air around them. Our soil moisture sensors reported steady hydration levels across the board, with the basil and oregano holding firm at roughly 46% and 50% respectively.

The chilli plants, naturally thirstier, sat comfortably in the mid-30s, showing no signs of stress. Throughout the day, the water reservoir remained full, ensuring that the capillary action continued to feed the roots without interruption. Inside the greenhouse, humidity hovered consistently between 36% and 38%, a dry but manageable level that helps prevent fungal issues while keeping the leaves crisp.

With no alarms triggered and all readings within expected ranges, the greenhouse is set for a healthy growth cycle ahead. Atmospheric pressure ticked up slightly from 995 hPa to 997 hPa, a subtle shift that likely went unnoticed by our herbs but is worth tracking for long-term weather patterns.
