Summary

Herb Hub 365 uses privacy-conscious analytics to understand which content is useful and how the site can be improved. Analytics remains optional, and this page explains what is collected, when it is collected, and how to control it.

Provider and purpose

  • Analytics service: Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Measurement ID: G-CYF38MD43R
  • Purpose: measure page performance, understand aggregate visitor behavior, and improve editorial and technical quality
  • Analytics is off by default.
  • GA4 loads only after you explicitly select Accept analytics.
  • If you select Reject analytics, analytics scripts are not loaded.
  • Legal basis for analytics on this site is consent.

Collected data categories (after consent)

When enabled, GA4 may process categories such as:

  • page URLs and titles
  • approximate location derived from IP (handled by Google)
  • browser/device and technical metadata
  • referral and engagement signals (for example, page interactions)

Herb Hub 365 does not use this analytics data to sell personal information.

Storage and cookies

  • Your analytics preference is stored in localStorage as a first-party setting (granted or denied).
  • GA cookies are only expected after consent, typically including:
  • _ga
  • _ga_<container>

If consent is withdrawn, the site makes a best effort to disable GA and remove those first-party GA cookies for supported herbhub365.com domain variants.

Withdraw or change consent

You can change your analytics choice at any time, without reloading the page.

You can also use the persistent Cookie settings control in the site footer.

Retention and contact

Analytics retention periods are configured within GA4 property settings and may change as configuration is updated. Herb Hub 365 aims to keep analytics settings proportionate to site improvement needs.
