A Bright Morning at Herb Hub 365

On August 2nd, the greenhouse experienced a steady climb in brightness, starting at a soft 490 lux and peaking at 1,944 lux by 9:00 AM. This increase was matched by a comfortable rise in air temperature from 15.06°C to a pleasant 22.66°C, creating an ideal environment for early growth.
As the morning warmed, humidity naturally dipped from 58.3% to 42.2%. Despite the drier air, soil moisture for our basil, chilli, and oregano remained perfectly consistent at 100%. Our irrigation system is clearly doing its job, keeping the roots well-hydrated as the plants face the peak morning sun.
The latest snapshot shows the basil thriving, with vibrant green leaves filling the left side of the frame. To the right, the chilli plant is making excellent progress; a small, firm green fruit is nestled among the foliage, supported by a steady wooden stake. Both plants appear healthy and upright, showing no signs of heat stress.
Overall, it was a stable and productive window for the greenhouse. Internal plant temperatures remained slightly cooler than the ambient air, suggesting the herbs are transpiring effectively and handling the August warmth with ease.
