As the sun climbed this morning, the greenhouse experienced a steady warming trend. Temperatures rose from a cool 18.53°C at dawn to a peak of 23.17°C by midday. This shift was accompanied by a significant surge in light levels, jumping from 371.7 lux to a bright 1424.2 lux, fueling a productive morning growth cycle.

With the increasing heat, humidity levels naturally decreased. The morning air started at 43.5% moisture but dried to 27.4% by the afternoon. Throughout these changes, atmospheric pressure remained remarkably stable, hovering consistently between 1002 and 1003 hPa.

The herbs are thriving in these brighter conditions. Internal plant temperatures for the basil, chilli, and oregano rose from the mid-17s to nearly 20°C, signaling healthy metabolic activity. This growth led to a slight dip in soil moisture; the basil eased from 56.65% to 52.55%, while the oregano and chilli are holding steady near 50%.

We are monitoring these drying trends closely to ensure the plants stay hydrated during this active period. While reservoir volumes weren’t recorded today, the water temperature has remained a consistent 18.05°C. It is a beautiful, productive day at Herb Hub 365.
