Morning Rhythms at Herb Hub 365
The greenhouse enjoyed a calm, consistent start on the morning of May 15th. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM UTC, sensors recorded a cool ambient temperature averaging 18.12°C and steady humidity at 42.5%. Atmospheric pressure remained remarkably firm, holding between 1002 and 1003 hPa, providing a stable foundation for the day’s growth.
Light levels shifted gently as the sun rose, peaking at 395.8 lux just after 6:30 AM before settling to 234.2 lux by the end of the observation. This soft morning glow is ideal for the foliage, offering enough energy to wake the plants without the stress of mid-day intensity.
Our residents—basil, chilli, and oregano—maintained healthy soil moisture throughout the session. The basil transitioned from 56.65% to 54.97% moisture, while the chilli and oregano held steady at 52% and 54.12%, respectively. Plant temperatures mirrored the cool air, resting comfortably between 17.4°C and 17.5°C.
The system’s water temperature averaged 17.76°C, staying in perfect sync with the greenhouse environment. While reservoir volume data was not captured during this window, the consistent soil moisture suggests the herbs are well-hydrated and thriving. It was a quiet, productive start at Herb Hub 365, setting a peaceful tone for the hours ahead.
