On the morning of May 8th, the greenhouse experienced a bright, steady transition between 06:00 and 08:30 UTC. Light levels climbed significantly, starting at a soft 200 lux and peaking at 1007.5 lux. This influx of morning sun naturally warmed the environment, lifting ambient temperatures from a crisp 20.96°C to a comfortable 23.45°C by the end of the session.

As the air warmed, humidity saw a gentle decline from 41.1% to 38.2%. Despite these atmospheric shifts, our water supply remained remarkably stable, holding a consistent temperature near 20°C throughout the morning. Atmospheric pressure also stayed steady, hovering reliably between 1012 and 1013 hPa.

The herbs are thriving in the increasing light. The basil and oregano maintained average temperatures of 20.34°C and 20.28°C respectively, while the chilli plants stayed slightly cooler at 20.11°C. It is encouraging to see the plants maintaining such a consistent internal state even as the greenhouse light intensifies.

Soil moisture levels showed a slight, natural decrease as the plants began their daily cycle. The oregano remains the most hydrated resident, ending the period at 78.24% moisture. Meanwhile, the basil soil transitioned from 67.52% to 65.21%, and the chilli levels held steady at 52.93%, leaving the hub well-balanced for the day ahead.
