The greenhouse environment remained stable throughout the morning of May 3rd. Air temperatures averaged a comfortable 23.1°C, while humidity levels dipped slightly from 41% to 40.2% by 7:00 AM. Atmospheric pressure held steady between 1003 and 1004 hPa, providing a consistent backdrop for the herbs as the day began.

Light levels increased modestly from 76.7 lux to a peak of 194.2 lux, offering a gentle start for the plants. Meanwhile, the system’s water temperature remained remarkably consistent at 22.5°C, perfectly matching the steady, controlled climate we maintain at the hub.

The most noteworthy change occurred in the basil bed, where soil moisture dropped sharply from 23.39% to just 7.98% over the course of an hour. This rapid decrease suggests the basil is highly active and will likely require a top-up soon. In contrast, the chilli and oregano remain well-saturated at 57.5% and 67.7% moisture, respectively.

While reservoir data is currently unavailable, individual plant temperatures for the chilli and oregano mirrored the stable ambient air. Our primary focus for the remainder of the day will be monitoring the basil to ensure the greenhouse continues to thrive. Stay tuned to herbhub365.com for further updates.
