The afternoon at the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse marked a distinct shift in conditions, transitioning from humid morning air to drier temperatures by evening. Humidity levels began relatively high but steadily declined as the sun climbed higher, dropping below 40% during late morning before settling around 32-35% towards sunset.

This drying trend was accompanied by rising internal temperatures; we started in a comfortable range near 18°C and warmed significantly to peak above 23°C before evening set in. Light levels followed the natural arc of daylight, swinging from deep twilight at dawn to bright midday sun that pushed readings well over one thousand lux.

Soil moisture varied by plant depending on their thirst. Basil held up well with plenty of hydration remaining near 58%, while oregano started drier but received a welcome soak pushing its levels toward 47%. However, our chilli plants remained consistently dry throughout the cycle, hovering stubbornly around 30% without any significant increase.

Despite the warming trend inside reaching into the low twenties Celsius, the water reservoir itself stayed cool at roughly 18°C. With no warnings triggered by extreme heat or drought conditions today, it was a steady day of observation where our plants adapted to fluctuating light and humidity with resilience.
