Sunday Afternoon at Herb Hub 365

It has been a warm and productive Sunday in the greenhouse this September 6th. Environmental sensors tracked a steady climb in temperature, peaking at 26.84°C with a comfortable daily average of 24.21°C. Humidity levels fluctuated between 38.1% and 53.2% as the afternoon progressed, providing a balanced environment for our herbs.
Generous light levels, reaching a maximum of 2487.5 lux, are clearly doing wonders for the plants. The most striking feature in the latest snapshot is a bright orange chilli hanging prominently in the background. It is a wonderful sign of the season’s progress and adds a beautiful splash of color to the surrounding greenery.
Soil moisture readings remain perfectly stable at 100% for the basil, chilli, and oregano. The basil in the foreground looks exceptionally healthy and bushy, displaying deep green, textured leaves. We are keeping an eye on some slight yellowing on a few larger leaves in the center, though the plants remain vigorous overall.
As the sun sets, the light has dipped to 301.7 lux and the air is cooling down. With the soil well-saturated and the greenhouse in excellent shape, we are ready for the evening. We look forward to seeing how that vibrant orange chilli continues to develop over the coming days.
