It has been a bright, steady day in the greenhouse. Our sensors captured a clear warming trend as the sun moved overhead, with ambient temperatures climbing from 20.7°C in the morning to a peak of 26.4°C. This warmth followed a significant rise in light levels, which reached a high of 2,487 lux and provided the herbs with plenty of energy for the day.

Soil moisture remains consistent at 100% across the basil, chilli, and oregano, keeping the roots perfectly hydrated. While the air temperature rose, the plants maintained a cooler internal temperature between 20°C and 22°C. Humidity gradually dipped as the day warmed, moving from 51.7% down to 43.1% by the final reading of the afternoon.

The greenhouse is looking particularly active today. The most striking feature is a bright orange chilli pepper showing off a rich, vibrant color. The basil in the foreground is bushy and full, though some of the larger chilli leaves are displaying a lighter, yellowish-green tint compared to the deep green of the basil. We noticed a small amount of browning on one leaf tip, but the overall vigour remains strong.

As the light begins to fade, we are monitoring the environment closely. With soil moisture holding steady and temperatures peaking comfortably, it has been a successful day of growth here at Herb Hub 365.
