As the air warmed, humidity naturally dipped from 45.6% to 30.8%, while light levels averaged a steady 632 lux. These conditions are providing plenty of energy for the herbs to thrive as we move through the August heat.

The basil is showing incredible vigor, its dense, bright green leaves filling the frame with a lush canopy. The chili plant is also at an exciting stage; a vibrant orange pepper is ripening near the center, while a smaller green pepper develops higher up near the support stake. Meanwhile, the oregano remains low and steady, maintaining its healthy, compact growth in the corner.

Soil moisture levels remain healthy, though we are watching a few thirsty trends. While the basil sits comfortably at 73%, the chili plant has dipped to 33.8% soil moisture during the warmest part of the day. The oregano has also moved from a morning high of 81.8% down to 67.9%. Despite these fluctuations, the plants look vibrant and resilient, showing clear signs of steady seasonal growth.
