It has been a bright, warm Sunday at Herb Hub 365. Greenhouse temperatures climbed from a morning low of 19.79°C to a peak of 29.19°C. While ambient light reached a strong 1800 lux earlier in the day, it has since faded to 1.7 lux as evening settles in. Humidity remained steady at a relatively low 34%, which is typical for these warmer afternoon stretches.

Our soil sensors show the basil resting comfortably at a steady 73% moisture level. The oregano saw more fluctuation, starting the day at 81% and drying down to 70% by late afternoon. The chilli plant remains the thirstiest of the group, with soil moisture averaging 35%. Despite the lower reading, the plant continues to hold its own as it focuses energy on fruit production.

The greenhouse looks exceptionally productive today. The basil in the foreground is lush and vibrant, showing no signs of wilting from the heat. In the center, the chilli plant is the star of the show, displaying a ripening orange-yellow pepper and a smaller green one developing higher up. Its leaves appear slightly paler than the deep green basil, a common trait during this phase of growth.

As we head into the night, the environment is cooling slightly, with a final temperature reading of 26.08°C. All systems remain stable, and the herbs are well-positioned for a restful evening.
