July 1st Greenhouse Update

It has been a productive morning at Herb Hub 365. As the sun climbed, greenhouse temperatures rose from a cool 20.37°C to a comfortable peak of 24.61°C by midday. This warmth was accompanied by a significant increase in light, reaching 274.2 lux during the brightest part of the day and providing our herbs with ample energy for growth.
Soil moisture levels across our beds show varied needs today. Our basil remains fully saturated at 100%, while the chilli plants have held steady around 76%. The oregano saw the most movement, climbing from an early 44.85% to a peak of 71.04% before settling at a comfortable 63.44% this afternoon.
As temperatures climbed, humidity naturally drifted from a morning high of 58.1% to a drier 47.5%. The plants are responding well to the shift; internal temperatures for the basil, chilli, and oregano remain in a healthy range between 19°C and 22.5°C. We will continue to monitor these conditions closely as we transition into the evening.
