Afternoon Update: July 1st at Herb Hub 365

It has been a steady and productive afternoon here at the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse. Our sensors captured a comfortable environment for the plants today, with the ambient temperature averaging 23.5°C and reaching a peak of 25.55°C. Humidity levels have remained moderate, fluctuating between 40.5% and 59.4%, which has kept the air feeling fresh rather than heavy.
Light levels reached a maximum of 450 lux during the brightest part of the day before tapering off to 98.3 lux as the afternoon progressed. We also noted a significant shift in atmospheric pressure; after starting the morning at a high of 1218 hPa, it settled down to a more standard 1017 hPa by the end of our tracking period.
The most notable activity occurred in the soil moisture levels. Our oregano received a much-needed boost, jumping from a low of 42.18% to a very healthy 93.9% by late afternoon. The chilli plants also saw a steady increase in hydration, ending the day at 85.3% moisture. Meanwhile, the basil remains consistently saturated, holding steady at 100% throughout the entire day.
As we head into the evening, the plant temperatures are well-regulated. The basil and chilli are resting at 23.31°C and 22.63°C respectively, closely mirroring the temperature of the water reservoir at 23.5°C. Everything in the greenhouse appears stable and well-hydrated as we close out this first day of July.
