A Calm Morning in the Greenhouse

July 1st began with a gentle start at Herb Hub 365. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, light levels climbed steadily from 42.5 to 84.2 lux. With an average ambient temperature of 20.85°C, the greenhouse provided a stable, mild environment for the herbs to begin their daily growth cycle.
Soil moisture readings indicate that our plants remain well-hydrated. The basil is fully saturated at 100%, while the chilli plants are holding steady at 76.63%. The oregano is resting at a drier 44.45%, which suits its natural preference for less damp conditions compared to its neighbors.
Atmospheric conditions remained largely stable, with humidity fluctuating slightly between 56.2% and 59.4%. We noted a significant shift in pressure, which dropped from 1218 hPa to 1019 hPa during the observation window. Despite this external change, the internal temperatures of the basil, chilli, and oregano remained consistent, hovering comfortably between 19°C and 20°C.
Although water reservoir data was unavailable this morning, the consistent soil moisture across all varieties suggests the irrigation system is performing effectively. We will continue to monitor these vitals closely to ensure the herbs thrive as the summer heat sets in.
