On June 23, 2026, Herb Hub 365 saw a steady climb in temperature, peaking at 31°C from a morning low of 23.01°C. While the midday sun reached a bright 6,726.7 lux, the light softened significantly to 75.8 lux by 5:30 PM. Humidity remained comfortable throughout the day, averaging 41.3% before rising slightly to 48.1% as the evening approached.

This shift in humidity coincided with a gradual drop in atmospheric pressure, which dipped from 1018 hPa to 1012 hPa by late afternoon. Interestingly, the water reservoir absorbed a significant amount of heat during the peak of the day, reaching a high of 33.94°C. We are watching these trends closely to see how the stored water temperature affects the surrounding microclimate.

Inside the pots, the basil and chilli plants are managing the warmth well. The basil maintained a consistent 100% soil moisture level, while the chilli plant fluctuated slightly before settling at a healthy 78.03%. Both plants saw their individual temperatures peak at a moderate 28.19°C, suggesting they are well-buffered against the external heat.

The oregano has been the most active water consumer today. Its soil moisture dropped steadily from a morning high of 61.33% to 49.8% by the final reading. We are monitoring this trend to ensure the soil remains within a healthy range as these warmer afternoon spells continue to test the garden’s resilience.
