Morning Vitality at Herb Hub

The greenhouse hummed with life in the early hours of June 21, 2026. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM UTC, we watched the space transition from a crisp dawn to a bright, productive morning. Ambient temperatures rose steadily from 19.23°C to 22.27°C, offering a gentle start for our resident herbs.
Light levels surged as the sun climbed, beginning at 246.7 lux and peaking at 506.7 lux. This increase in morning rays was accompanied by a slight dip in humidity, which moved from 54.8% down to 50.6%. Meanwhile, atmospheric pressure remained remarkably stable between 1022 and 1023 hPa, providing a consistent environment for the plants to breathe.
Our soil moisture sensors revealed thirsty plants preparing for the day ahead. While the basil remained fully saturated at 100%, the chilli and oregano showed signs of active water uptake. Chilli moisture dipped from 84.1% to 82.44%, while the oregano moved from 77.65% to 74.33%, signaling their readiness for the afternoon heat.
Individual plant temperatures stayed slightly cooler than the surrounding air, with the oregano reaching 19.5°C and the chilli remaining the coolest at 18.75°C. The water temperature mirrored this warming trend, rising from 18.81°C to 21.38°C as the morning light filled the greenhouse.
