The afternoon readings from the greenhouse showcased a beautiful progression of the day’s cycles. Light levels peaked today, hitting a maximum of 1604.2 lux, which signals strong natural energy for our herbs. The ambient temperature also climbed, reaching a mid-day high of 26.24°C.
Humidity saw a noticeable dip throughout the afternoon, starting near 43.1% and settling at a low of 33.5% by the end of the monitoring period. Despite the dip, the overall ambient temperature remained warm, averaging a comfortable 22.83°C across the recorded span.
For our herb residents, the temperature readings were consistent with the environment. Basil, Chilli, and Oregano all showed their highest recorded temperatures during the peak light period, suggesting they are utilizing the warmth efficiently for continued growth.
Soil moisture levels remained quite stable across the board. Basil’s moisture content dipped from 83% down to 74.87%, while Chilli held steady near 60-61%. Oregano maintained a healthy level, moving from 91.02% down to 88.78%. Overall, everything appears to be holding steady for a successful afternoon!
