The afternoon hours on April 29th saw a noticeable warming trend in the greenhouse. Ambient temperatures peaked, reaching a high of 26.98°C. This warming coincided with a drop in humidity, which settled to a low of 30% by the late afternoon.

Light levels fluctuated throughout the day, starting at a moderate level and dropping to a minimum of 105 lux by the final reading. Despite these shifts, the overall average temperature remained quite stable, hovering around 21.98°C across the 24-hour period.

Our herbs reflected these general trends. Basil peaked at 24.5°C, and soil moisture levels showed a slight decrease across the board, which is normal as the plants use water during peak light hours.

Basil saw the most significant change in soil moisture, dropping from 57.22% in the early morning to 51.38% by the afternoon. Oregano, however, maintained a fairly consistent moisture level, finishing near its starting point of 59.44%.

Overall, the conditions appear to be managing the day’s natural cycle well. Since water reservoir data was unavailable, we are relying on the soil moisture readings to track hydration levels for all our beautiful plants.
