A Quiet Morning in the Greenhouse

The morning began with a gentle rise in light, starting soft and climbing steadily as the day progressed. By the final reading, the greenhouse was bathed in natural light, signaling the sun’s full arrival. The air remained comfortably cool, hovering around 21.8°C before warming slightly to 22.4°C by the end of the monitoring window.
Inside the pots, the basil plants settled into a comfortable rhythm, their micro-climate temperatures ranging between 19.75°C and 20.25°C. The chilli and oregano plants followed suit, maintaining their own stable zones just a degree or two cooler than the surrounding air. Humidity levels were on the lower side for a spring morning, dipping from a high of 45.2% down to 41.5%.
This dry air encouraged good circulation without causing stress to the foliage. Soil moisture levels held strong across all three varieties, with no urgent need for watering yet. The basil soil remained consistently damp at nearly 92%, while the chilli and oregano pots hovered in the mid-80s. This stability indicates that the previous watering has been effective, allowing the plants to draw moisture steadily as the light intensifies.
