Greenhouse Update: A Warm and Sunny Morning

The morning sun brought the greenhouse to life, with ambient temperatures climbing steadily from a comfortable 19.9°C at dawn to a peak of 25.3°C by midday. Inside the growing beds, the basil, chilli, and oregano plants tracked this rise closely, with their own micro-climates warming from just under 19.2°C to around 22.5°C. The water reservoir also warmed slightly, settling near 18.9°C, keeping the roots happy as the day progressed.
Light levels were particularly active this session, swinging from a dim 79 lux in the early morning to a bright 771 lux as the sun reached its height. While the air inside the greenhouse remained on the drier side, hovering between 35% and 43% humidity, the plants adjusted well to the shifting conditions. The pressure readings stayed steady around 1014 hPa, indicating stable weather outside.
Soil moisture levels showed a gentle decline as the plants utilized their reserves. Basil soil dropped from 54.9% to 48.5%, while chilli soil decreased from 42% to 39%. Oregano remained the most hydrated, staying above 52% throughout the day. No immediate watering was required, but the chilli plants are approaching the lower end of their range, so keep an eye on them as the afternoon continues.
