The morning sun rose over the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse just after 6:00 AM, bringing a gentle increase in light that climbed steadily throughout the day. By 8:30 AM, intensity had reached a comfortable 665.8 lux, providing the perfect start for the day’s growth cycle.

Inside, the air remained crisp and dry with humidity hovering between 39% and 43%. This range keeps foliage fresh without encouraging fungal issues, while temperatures warmed from a cool 19.9°C at dawn to a pleasant 21.7°C by mid-morning.

Our specific plants responded well to these conditions. The basil warmed up nicely to nearly 20°C, while the chilli and oregano maintained their preferred slightly cooler range. The water reservoir stayed consistent around 18.3°C, ensuring irrigation would be delivered without shocking the root systems.

Soil moisture levels were generally healthy across the board, with basil holding near 52% and oregano sitting comfortably around 53%. The chilli plants, which naturally prefer a slightly drier environment, sat at approximately 41% moisture with no signs of stress.

With pressure holding steady at 1015 hPa and no alerts triggered, the day is off to a calm start. The conditions are ideal for photosynthesis to kick into high gear, and the plants are quietly preparing for the rest of the day ahead.
