Herb Hub 365: A Sunny Start to Our Greenhouse Day

Morning light filtered through our greenhouse glass just after six, bringing a gentle warmth that rose steadily throughout the day. By midday, temperatures had climbed from nineteen point seven degrees Celsius at dawn to twenty-three point one by early afternoon. The air remained dry and crisp, with humidity hovering around thirty-nine percent before dipping slightly as the sun reached its peak intensity.
Our three herbs responded well to these bright conditions. While basil maintained a steady soil moisture level between fifty-eight and sixty percent, oregano showed similar stability at readings around fifty-nine percent. However, chilli plants required closer attention; their moisture content began at forty-five point zero four percent before ending just above forty-one percent as they actively used water under the bright sun.
Pressure dropped slightly from one thousand and ten hectopascals to one thousand and six over our monitoring window, a subtle shift that often precedes changing weather patterns outside. With no alarms triggered by low moisture or extreme heat spikes today, everything appears healthy and balanced for now. We will keep an eye on those chilli roots tomorrow morning as they continue their daily rhythm under the sun.
