April 4th Greenhouse Update: A Bright Start for Basil and Chilli

The morning sun broke through the greenhouse glass early on April 4, raising light levels to over 500 lux by mid-morning. Inside, temperatures hovered comfortably around 21°C as daylight took hold. Humidity dipped slightly but remained within a healthy range, ensuring our herb leaves stayed crisp without becoming too dry or damp.
Our basil plants are thriving with soil moisture near sixty percent throughout the day. The chilli patch shows its typical thirstier nature with readings just above forty-four percent; while not critical yet, it is worth keeping an eye on as evaporation increases later in the morning. Oregano sits comfortably between our other two favorites, holding steady moisture levels that keep growth consistent across all three varieties.
The water reservoir remains full enough to support these needs for now, though we will continue monitoring its volume once light intensity climbs higher later today. With atmospheric pressure stable and no warning signals triggered by the sensors, everything appears balanced for a productive growing day ahead.
