Greenhouse Check-in: A Warm and Stable March Evening

The afternoon sun brought gentle warmth to the Herb Hub greenhouse today, raising ambient temperatures from a cool morning start of 18.5°C to a pleasant peak near 24.4°C by late evening. Inside our pots, basil enjoyed its warmest stretch reaching nearly 23°C, while chilli and oregano thrived in their own cozy microclimates throughout the day.
It was a stable period with no sudden drops or spikes that might have stressed the plants. As daylight faded, we noticed the air drying out slightly; humidity dipped from an early morning high of 44% down to around 37% before settling back near 40%. Outside pressure also rose gently, climbing from 1015 hPa to over 1020 hPa by evening.
These steady shifts are exactly what we expect on a clear spring day and the plants seem right at home with these conditions. Water levels in our reservoir remain consistent for now, though it is worth keeping an eye on chilli soil moisture as it drifted toward its lower end of 41%. The basil remains comfortably hydrated above 62%, so we are all good for another day or two before needing a top-up.
