The sun brought a warm welcome to the greenhouse, with light levels climbing steadily from morning shadows until mid-afternoon brightness peaked near 800 lux. As evening approached, the intensity settled back down while the air remained quite dry throughout the day. Humidity hovered around an average of thirty-three percent before dipping below thirty-one in the late hours.

Inside the growing beds, temperatures rose comfortably alongside the sunlight. By four o’clock, basil plants warmed up to nearly twenty-two degrees Celsius, with chilli and oregano tracking closely behind at just over twenty-one. Meanwhile, the water reservoir stayed cool and steady around eighteen degrees, providing a stable base for root growth as ambient heat climbed higher outside.

Soil moisture levels showed some interesting shifts depending on where we looked today. Basil soil remained comfortably hydrated between eighty percent throughout the day with only minor fluctuations, while oregano held its own near forty-four percent initially before settling slightly lower by evening. Chilli plants started off a bit drier at just under forty percent and dipped further toward thirty-six as the afternoon progressed.

There were no critical warnings to note; all systems remained within healthy parameters despite the dry air. A slight drop in pressure from 1016 hPa early morning to over 1022 by late evening suggests a gentle shift in weather patterns, though nothing requiring immediate action. It was another productive day for our herbs as they basked in the afternoon sun before we signed off on this update.
