March 25: A Steady Start to Herb Hub Day
Morning readings reveal a calm, stable environment within our greenhouse. The ambient temperature settled comfortably around 24°C, while individual plant zones hovered in their preferred range between 21.7°C and 21.9°C. Humidity remained consistent throughout the monitoring window at approximately 35%, providing just enough moisture without becoming damp or stagnant.
Soil conditions are healthy across our three main crops. The basil sits very wet, exceeding 90% capacity to ensure hydration for its rapid growth cycle. Meanwhile, both chilli and oregano plants maintain a moderate thirst level around 51-57%, indicating they have plenty of room to drink before needing another top-up from the reservoir.
Light levels shifted noticeably as we tracked through the hour, dropping from nearly 936 lux down to just over 420 lux by the final reading. This decline suggests either a cloud passing overhead or simply the natural transition toward later morning hours inside the greenhouse structure. There are no warnings of stress; everything appears balanced and ready for today’s growth cycle.
