The day began with a calm, bright progression in the greenhouse. Between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, light levels climbed from a dim 112.5 lux to a clear 390 lux. This natural shift was accompanied by a gentle rise in air temperature, warming from a cool 19.04°C to a comfortable 21.04°C by mid-morning.

As the air warmed, humidity followed an inverse trend, tapering from 54.4% down to 46.4%. While the atmosphere remained stable, our soil sensors for the basil, chilli, and oregano all reported 0% moisture. This suggests the substrate is currently quite dry or the sensors require a quick check to ensure our herbs stay properly hydrated.

Visually, the greenhouse remains vibrant, with the basil showing off a dense canopy of bright green leaves. However, a closer look reveals a few pale spots and slight browning at the tips of the larger foliage. These small signs of stress likely reflect the low moisture levels recorded by our sensors earlier this morning.

Throughout the morning, plant temperatures held steady between 17°C and 17.5°C, remaining slightly cooler than the surrounding air. With atmospheric pressure holding at 1010 hPa, it has been a consistent start for the Herb Hub 365 setup as we move into the afternoon.
