It has been a productive morning at Herb Hub 365 as we move into the afternoon. Light levels climbed steadily from a dim 112.5 lux at dawn to a bright 1907.5 lux by midday. This surge in light was accompanied by a comfortable rise in air temperature, peaking at 23.29°C and creating a vibrant environment for the herbs.

Our latest snapshots show the basil looking particularly lush, filling the foreground with broad, bright green leaves. While the foliage is generally healthy and vigorous, we noticed some lighter green patches and a small amount of browning on a few leaf tips. In the background, a single orange chili pepper adds a splash of warm color to the dense greenery.

Soil moisture levels saw a significant change right at noon. After a dry start, readings for the basil, chili, and oregano jumped to 24.03%, 54.46%, and 59.27% respectively. This indicates the irrigation system is working well to keep the plants hydrated as humidity dropped from a morning high of 54.4% to a drier 40.5%.

Individual plant temperatures remain stable and slightly cooler than the surrounding air, with the basil currently at 19.44°C and the oregano at 19.06°C. Everything is in balance as we move through the day, with the plants responding beautifully to the transition from the cool morning to the warmer, brighter afternoon.
