It has been a productive Monday here at Herb Hub 365. On this September 7, the greenhouse maintained a steady rhythm, with temperatures peaking at 25.37°C before settling into a comfortable daily average of 23.41°C. As we move into the evening, humidity has dipped from a morning high of 64.5% to a drier 45.4%.

Light levels reached a peak of 2300 lux earlier today, providing ample energy for the herbs before softening to 235.8 lux this afternoon. Despite the warmth, our soil sensors for the basil, chilli, and oregano are reporting a consistent 100% moisture level. This ensures the root systems remain well-hydrated and resilient as the light fades.

The basil is looking particularly impressive, showing dense growth with many lush, bright green leaves filling the frame. While some newer growth is appearing in a lighter, yellowish-green hue, the overall vigor remains high. We noticed a single leaf with a small dried tip near the center, but the plants are otherwise thriving.

The highlight of the afternoon is the chilli plant, where a bright orange pepper is ripening beautifully. Interestingly, the plants are staying slightly cooler than the surrounding air, with the basil and oregano averaging around 21°C. We are keeping a close eye on these vibrant developments as the day winds down.
