September 5th: A Bright Afternoon in the Hub

It has been a productive, sun-drenched day at Herb Hub 365. As the morning progressed, our sensors recorded a significant light surge peaking at 2596.7 lux. This brought a welcome warmth to the greenhouse, with ambient temperatures climbing from a cool 19.59°C to a balmy 25.75°C by early afternoon.
The herbs are enjoying consistent hydration, with soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano holding steady at 100%. While the morning air was moist at 55.2% humidity, it has since dried to a comfortable 40.6%. This shift is typical for a clear, sunny day and helps maintain a balanced growing environment.
Recent imagery shows vigorous growth across the board. The basil is particularly dense, with broad green leaves filling the frame. Most excitingly, the chilli plant is sporting a prominent orange fruit that is ripening beautifully. While a few larger leaves show a slight yellowish-green tint, the overall energy of the plants remains high.
Temperature management across the individual beds has been excellent, with the basil, chilli, and oregano remaining within a healthy range of 18°C to 21.5°C. With stable pressure and perfectly moist soil, conditions are ideal for late-summer growth as we move into the evening hours.
