It was a productive Saturday in the greenhouse this September 5th. Temperatures reached a warm peak of 27.09°C, while humidity levels shifted from a morning high of 55.2% to a comfortable 45.1% by late afternoon. These steady conditions provided a perfect environment for our herb collection to thrive throughout the day.

Light levels were dynamic, peaking at 2596.7 lux before tapering off to 197.5 lux as the sun began to set. This natural rhythm kept the plants active, with leaf temperatures for our basil, chili, and oregano rising from morning lows of 18°C to a cozy 22°C by the end of the reporting period.

The greenhouse is looking particularly lively, highlighted by a bright orange pepper ripening prominently among the foliage. While the foreground basil remains a lush, deep green, we are keeping a close eye on some of the larger chili leaves, which have developed a paler, yellowish hue with light spotting.

Our sensors show that the basil, chili, and oregano are all well-hydrated with 100% soil moisture. Despite the afternoon heat, the irrigation system is performing its job effectively, ensuring the plants remain stress-free. It is a peaceful end to the day as the light fades and the garden settles in for the evening.
