It has been a productive and warming day here at Herb Hub 365. As the morning progressed into the afternoon, we saw a significant shift in the greenhouse climate. Temperatures climbed steadily from a cool 17.8°C at dawn to a peak of 26.9°C by midday. This rise in heat was accompanied by a notable drop in humidity, which moved from a damp 59.9% down to 39%, creating a much drier environment for our herbs to navigate.

The light levels followed a similar upward trend, peaking at 680.8 lux as the sun reached its height. Looking at the latest snapshot, the basil is looking exceptionally lush and vibrant, with its broad green leaves filling the frame. Tucked behind the foliage, we can clearly see a bright orange chilli ripening on the branch, adding a splash of warm color to the dense greenery.

Despite the afternoon heat, our soil moisture levels have remained perfectly stable at 100% for the basil, chilli, and oregano alike. The plants are clearly well-hydrated, with individual plant temperatures staying several degrees cooler than the surrounding air, averaging around 21°C to 22°C during the warmest part of the day.

It is a peaceful afternoon in the greenhouse, and everything is currently thriving under the late summer sun. We will continue to monitor these conditions closely as the evening approaches. For more live updates, stay tuned to our home at www.herbhub365.com.
