It was a productive start to September at Herb Hub 365, where the greenhouse environment remained stable and supportive. Temperatures climbed from a cool 17.8°C morning start to a pleasant afternoon peak of 27.1°C, providing plenty of warmth for the plants to thrive.

The most striking sight today is the chilli plant, which features a bright orange pepper ripening beautifully among the green foliage. The basil also continues to show impressive vigor, with its broad, vibrant leaves filling out the frame while the oregano clusters neatly in the corner.

Hydration levels remain optimal across the entire collection. Our sensors indicate that soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano held steady at 100% throughout the day. This consistent moisture, combined with an average humidity of about 46%, has kept the herbs looking lush and healthy.

As the afternoon light fades from a midday high of 812.5 lux to about 71.7 lux, the greenhouse is settling in for the night. Humidity has leveled out at 50.2% following a more humid morning. It has been a successful day of growth, and we look forward to seeing how that orange chilli progresses by tomorrow.
