Afternoon Glow: August 30th

As the afternoon progressed, the greenhouse warmed to a peak of 29.19°C. Light intensity climbed steadily from a dim start to a bright 3500 lux, while humidity dipped to a comfortable 41.4%. These summer conditions are providing the perfect energy for our mid-season growth.
The plants are responding beautifully to the warmth. Our basil leaves are vibrant and reaching toward the light, while the oregano continues to fill its space with dense, healthy growth in the lower corner of the frame. Most notably, a bright orange pepper is now visible on the chilli plant, signaling that harvest time is just around the corner.
Despite the rising ambient temperature, the root zones remain stable. Sensors show soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano at a consistent 100%. Soil temperatures are holding steady between 23°C and 24°C, ensuring the plants stay hydrated and stress-free even as the air temperature peaks.
The greenhouse remains a productive and stable environment today. With no warnings to report, we’re enjoying the sight of our herbs thriving under the afternoon sun as the peppers reach their final stage of ripening.
