On August 23rd, the greenhouse warmed to a peak of 25.3°C under steady midday light of 562.5 lux. As the temperature rose, the morning humidity of 54.9% dipped to a much drier 35.7% by late afternoon. Atmospheric pressure remained stable at 1021 hPa, creating a consistent and calm environment for the day’s growth.

The plants are showing impressive visual progress. The chilli plant is particularly striking, featuring a large, glossy green pepper near the top and a smaller one below that has ripened into a vibrant shade of orange. Nearby, the basil remains lush and healthy, with broad, bright green leaves filling the foreground of the greenhouse.

Our soil sensors are currently reporting a sharp contrast in moisture levels across the herbs. While the chilli plant sits at a consistent 100%, the basil and oregano sensors have dropped to 0% following a brief morning reading. Despite these low digital readings, the plants show no signs of wilting in the afternoon sun. We will continue to monitor these levels closely as our chillies continue to develop.
