On August 23, 2026, the greenhouse saw a steady climb in activity between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM UTC. Atmospheric pressure held steady at 1022 hPa, providing a calm and consistent start for the plants. As the sun rose, light levels peaked at 332.5 lux, warming the air from 18.02°C to a pleasant 22.8°C while humidity dipped from 54.9% to 43.7%.

Our soil sensors reveal a stark contrast in hydration today. While the chilli plant remains fully saturated at 100% moisture, the basil and oregano are signaling a clear need for water. The basil’s moisture dropped from 3.85% to 0% by mid-morning, with the oregano also registering at 0%. We are monitoring these levels closely to ensure they receive the hydration they need.

Visually, the greenhouse remains vibrant and productive. A bright orange pepper has ripened beautifully on the chilli plant, and a smaller green pepper is visible higher up in the foliage. Although the basil leaves in the foreground appear lush and healthy, there is some noticeable yellowing on the larger, lower leaves of the chilli plant. We will continue to watch how the herbs respond to these shifting conditions throughout the day.
