Tuesday brought a steady climb in temperature to the greenhouse, peaking at a warm 28.63°C. The air grew quite dry as the day progressed, with humidity dipping from a comfortable 46.1% in the morning to a low of 26.6% during the heat of the afternoon.

Strong light levels fueled the plants today, reaching a maximum of 893.3 lux. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the tracking period ended at a dim 8.3 lux, completing a natural cycle that seems to be suiting the greenery perfectly.

The basil is looking particularly impressive with its deep green, vibrant leaves. Nearby, the chilli plant is a standout; one pepper has ripened into a cheerful orange, while a smaller green one is developing higher up the stem.

While the basil and oregano enjoy consistent soil moisture between 70% and 80%, the chilli plant is currently much thirstier. Its soil moisture dropped to 19.61% by late afternoon, so we are keeping a close eye on its hydration to support those maturing peppers as we head into the evening.
