Midday at Herb Hub 365

The greenhouse has transitioned from a soft morning glow to the full intensity of the day. Between 6:00 AM and 12:30 PM, light levels surged from 210 to 1463 lux, pushing the ambient temperature to a peak of 29.76°C.
As the air warmed, humidity dipped from 41.8% to a drier 30%. Despite the shift, the plants are navigating the change beautifully. The basil is particularly lush, its broad green leaves remaining vibrant and firm even in the peak midday heat.
The chilli plant is today’s standout, showing off a bright orange pepper and a smaller green fruit higher up the stem. After a brief dip to 17% soil moisture earlier this morning, it has recovered to a healthy 35.9%, ensuring the developing fruit remains well-supported during these warmer hours.
Meanwhile, the oregano and basil are enjoying very stable conditions, with soil moisture levels holding steady in the mid-to-high 60s. It is a productive afternoon in the hub, where high light levels are fueling vigorous growth and steady ripening across the board.
