It has been a bright, warm day in the greenhouse. Temperatures climbed from a morning low of 24.34°C to a peak of 33.61°C, averaging a comfortable 27.43°C. As the heat rose, humidity levels dipped from 41.8% down to a drier 30.8% by early evening.

Our herb beds have been soaking up the day’s resources steadily. While the basil and oregano remain well-hydrated at 61.6% and 66.8% moisture respectively, the chilli plant is notably thirstier. Its soil moisture dipped to 28.59% this afternoon, so we are monitoring its needs closely as the light fades.

Visually, the greenhouse is looking exceptionally lush. The basil in the foreground shows off vibrant, bushy green leaves, while the chilli plant reaches upward with the support of a wooden stake. It is exciting to see the fruit progressing; while a firm green chilli sits at the top, another has turned a brilliant orange, signaling it is well on its way to ripening.

Light levels peaked at 3669.2 lux earlier today, providing plenty of energy for growth. As the day winds down, the light has mellowed to 215.8 lux. Everything appears stable and vigorous as the plants settle into their nightly rest cycle.
