On August 8th, the greenhouse underwent a swift transformation as the sun climbed. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, temperatures rose from a crisp 13.6°C to a comfortable 23°C. This warming trend coincided with a surge in light reaching 435 lux, while humidity levels dipped from 63.8% to a drier 41.3%.

The greenery is looking exceptionally vibrant under the morning light. The basil is thriving with lush, deep green leaves, and the chilli plant is reaching an exciting milestone. A bright orange pepper is now clearly visible, hanging alongside a smaller green one that is still maturing, while the oregano remains a steady, quiet presence in the lower corner.

Soil moisture levels showed significant variation across the pots today. While the oregano settled at 75.2% and the basil remained consistent at 61%, the chilli plant is currently sitting much lower at 16.5%. This contrast is notable, and we will be keeping a close eye on the chilli’s hydration as the day warms up.

Atmospheric pressure remains stable at 1016 hPa, providing a steady environment for growth. The sight of ripening fruit is a wonderful sign of the greenhouse’s current vigor. The plants are responding beautifully to the shift in light, marking a successful start to the day.
