The morning of August 4th saw a steady climb in light within the Herb Hub 365 greenhouse, rising from a dim 25 lux at dawn to a bright mid-morning peak of 2,467 lux. As temperatures settled at an average of 24.4°C, humidity naturally dipped from a morning high of 57.4% to a drier 43.4%. These shifting conditions created an ideal, active environment for the day’s growth.

Our sensors show that soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano remained at a perfect 100%. This consistent hydration is reflected in the lush, vibrant green leaves visible throughout the garden. The basil appears especially vigorous, with broad leaves stretching toward the light source and showing no signs of wilting or heat stress.

The chilli plant is showing rewarding progress, as a small, round green fruit has begun to form near the top of the stem. We are currently using a wooden stake to support the plant as it matures and prepares for a heavier harvest. Tucked into the corner of the container, the oregano continues to thrive, filling its space with dense, healthy foliage.

Internal plant temperatures hovered between 21.9°C and 22.5°C, remaining slightly cooler than the ambient air. This indicates the herbs are transpiring effectively and staying resilient despite the climbing external warmth. With atmospheric pressure holding steady at 1004 hPa, it has been a remarkably stable and productive day for our indoor garden.
