August Heat and Hydrated Herbs

August 1st brought a bright, warm start to the month here at Herb Hub 365. Greenhouse temperatures climbed to a peak of 30.65°C, while humidity levels averaged around 34% following a much more humid early morning.
Despite the afternoon heat, sensor data confirms that the basil, chilli, and oregano remained perfectly hydrated, with soil moisture holding steady at 100%. This consistency is evident in the basil, which currently displays a dense canopy of firm, vibrant green leaves.
In the center of the frame, the chilli plant continues its steady climb up its wooden support. Several small, green chillies are beginning to develop among the foliage. While its leaves are a slightly lighter shade than the basil, the plant looks vigorous and well-supported.
Light levels fluctuated significantly throughout the day, peaking at over 20,000 lux before settling into a quiet 214.2 lux by evening. Tucked in the shadows, the oregano is also holding its own with healthy, dark green leaves. As the day ends, the greenhouse remains stable and well-tended.
