A Sunny Afternoon at Herb Hub 365

It was a productive Friday in the greenhouse this July 31st. Temperatures climbed steadily throughout the day, reaching a peak of 32.77°C. While the air grew warm, humidity levels dipped from a morning high of 45.1% to about 33% by late afternoon, creating a dry, summery environment for our herbs.
Sensor data confirms that our watering system is keeping pace with the heat. Soil moisture levels for the basil, chilli, and oregano remained at a consistent 100% all day. Even as light levels surged past 13,800 lux, the plants stayed well-hydrated and showed no signs of stress from the intense afternoon sun.
The basil is looking particularly impressive, with dense, vibrant green foliage reaching upward with great vigor. Nearby, our chilli plant is also making excellent progress; a small, firm green chilli is now visible on the vine. We have a wooden stake in place to provide support as the plant continues to thrive in the bright daylight.
As the day winds down, light levels have softened to 375 lux and the greenhouse has cooled to a comfortable 23.68°C. It has been a successful day of growth across the board, leaving the herbs well-prepared for the evening ahead.
