The greenhouse enjoyed a productive morning on July 30, with environmental conditions remaining well within the ideal range for our herb collection. Between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, the air temperature averaged a comfortable 23.37°C, peaking briefly at 24.72°C. Humidity held steady at approximately 49%, providing a balanced atmosphere for the plants as the day began.

Light levels climbed significantly throughout the morning, rising from a modest 873 lux to a peak of 2017.5 lux. This steady increase in brightness is clearly benefiting the basil, which appears exceptionally vibrant with lush, wide green leaves. Plant temperatures have followed the ambient air closely, staying between 21°C and 22°C to maintain a perfect pocket of growth.

Hydration remains high, with soil moisture sensors for the basil, chilli, and oregano all recording a consistent 100%. This steady supply of water is fueling impressive vigor, particularly in the chilli plant. A small, firm green pepper is now clearly visible near its wooden support stake, marking an exciting milestone for the summer season.

While the oregano stays tucked lower in the arrangement, the upper canopy of basil and chilli continues to dominate the view with healthy, bright foliage. We are looking forward to watching that first chilli develop and ripen over the coming days.
