It has been a bright, warming day in the greenhouse. Temperatures climbed steadily from a cool 18.95°C in the early morning to a peak of 25.12°C by 1:00 PM. This warmth was paired with a dramatic surge in light levels, reaching over 5,800 lux as the sun hit its stride.

Our herbs are enjoying consistent hydration, with soil moisture for the basil, chilli, and oregano holding steady at 100%. While we don’t have specific reservoir data for this afternoon, the plants themselves appear well-saturated, vibrant, and healthy.

The basil is showing wonderful vigor, its broad green leaves reaching upward toward the light. Nearby, the chilli plant is making excellent progress; a small, firm green chilli is now clearly visible on the branch, supported by a wooden stake to help manage the weight as the fruit matures.

As temperatures rose, humidity naturally dipped from a morning high of 57.1% to a drier 38.7% by mid-afternoon. Despite the lower humidity, the environment remains stable, leaving the herbs looking well-tended under the summer sun.
