It has been a bright and active day here at Herb Hub 365. Since the early morning hours, we have watched the greenhouse environment shift as the sun climbed higher. The air temperature started at a cool 18.02°C and warmed up steadily throughout the morning, reaching a peak of 25.9°C by the early afternoon.

As the temperature rose, the humidity levels naturally dipped. We began the day with a relatively moist 60.5% humidity, which settled down to 38.6% by the time of our last reading. This transition to drier, warmer air is typical for a mid-summer afternoon, and the plants appear to be taking the change in stride.

Our light sensors recorded a significant jump in brightness, moving from a dim 20 lux at dawn to a high of 835.8 lux. Despite the increase in heat and light, the soil moisture for our basil, chilli, and oregano has remained perfectly consistent at 100%. This suggests the irrigation is keeping the root zones well-hydrated during the warmest part of the day.

Looking at the latest snapshot, the basil is showing off some truly vibrant growth, with its broad, green leaves looking lush and healthy. To the right, the chilli plant is making excellent progress; you can clearly see small, green peppers beginning to take shape among the foliage, which is currently supported by a wooden stake.
