The greenhouse enjoyed a very stable and productive morning on July 22, 2026. Between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM UTC, the environment remained comfortable for our residents, with air temperatures hovering around an average of 20.2°C. Atmospheric pressure was perfectly steady at 1023 hPa, providing a consistent backdrop for the day’s early growth.

Light levels climbed steadily as the morning progressed, reaching a peak of 865 lux. This gentle increase in brightness was accompanied by a gradual rise in humidity, which started at 56% and climbed to 60.8% by the final reading. These conditions seem to suit the herbs well, maintaining a lush environment without the stress of extreme heat or dryness.

Our soil sensors indicate that the hydration strategy is working perfectly, with the basil, chilli, and oregano all maintaining 100% soil moisture throughout the morning. The root zone temperatures remained slightly cooler than the air, averaging between 18.5°C and 18.9°C across the different pots, which is ideal for steady nutrient uptake.

Visually, the greenhouse is a picture of vitality. The basil in the center is showing off vibrant, bright green leaves and strong vertical growth. To the right, the chilli plant is looking particularly robust, supported by a wooden stake; a small, healthy green chilli pepper is clearly visible and developing well. In the lower corner, the oregano continues to fill out into a dense, healthy carpet of green.

Overall, the plants appear vigorous and well-cared for. With moisture levels maxed out and temperatures remaining moderate, the herbs are in an excellent position to make the most of the summer light. We look forward to seeing how that young chilli develops over the coming days.
