It has been a warm, steady Friday in the greenhouse. Temperatures climbed from a cool 17.87°C this morning to a toasty 25.49°C by the afternoon. As the air warmed, humidity naturally drifted from a damp 63% down to 40.1%, while atmospheric pressure held steady at 1014 hPa.

The plants look vibrant under moderate light levels that peaked at 981.7 lux. Our chilli plant is a standout, showing off broad green leaves and a prominent pepper developing near its support stake. Beside it, the basil continues to flourish with its characteristic deep green, rounded foliage.

Soil moisture has seen significant movement today. The basil bounced back from a morning low of 35.14% to a healthy 87.86%, while the chilli plant remained fully hydrated at 100%. However, the oregano sensor has been erratic, ending the day at a low 10.19%, which suggests it may need a closer look this evening.

It is rewarding to see the literal fruits of our labor as that chilli pepper matures. We will continue to monitor the moisture levels to ensure the oregano stays as happy as its neighbors as we head into the night.
