Afternoon Glow at the Hub

It has been a productive Wednesday at the Hub this July 15th. The greenhouse environment remains comfortable for our residents, with temperatures peaking at 27.68°C and averaging a steady 23.38°C. These warm conditions, paired with light levels reaching 12,195 lux, have encouraged active growth and a vibrant appearance across the planter.
Humidity fluctuated as the day progressed, starting at a damp 60% before settling to a drier 44% by the late afternoon. Our soil sensors show the basil is perfectly hydrated at 100% moisture, while the chilli and oregano saw slight, natural dips as they transpired through the heat. Ending the day at 84.5% and 88.43% respectively, all plants remain well within their healthy hydration zones.
The visual highlight of the day is the progress of the chilli plant. A bright green pepper is now clearly visible and maturing well, hanging just below the upper leaves. While the chilli’s larger leaves appear a bit pale, the plant remains upright and sturdy with the help of its wooden stake.
To the left, the basil continues to be the star of the show, looking exceptionally lush, dense, and deep green. Meanwhile, the oregano is quietly filling its corner with a carpet of small, sturdy leaves. It is a peaceful afternoon at Herb Hub 365, and the plants are clearly making the most of the summer light.
